The JÍ K' ¡ SÊ Yor˜b· Companion CD-ROM was designed to complement Professor Schleicher's popular first-year Yoruba textbook, JÍ K' ¡ SÊ Yor˜b·. Actually a two-disc set, this Windows-compatible program provides students the opportunity to reinforce their classroom learning, hear a variety of native speakers, and work at their own pace in a culturally rich, interactive environment.
Each of the CD-ROM's 19 lessons corresponds in theme and content with a chapter of the textbook, making it very easy for instructors to integrate the CD-ROM into their existing curriculum. A typical lesson contains
