At the University of Wisconsin-Madison

Bawo ni! Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Yoruba program, a part of the Department of African Languages and Literature. Our department has offered Yoruba classes off and on since the 70's, and made Yoruba a formal program in 1989. Since then, we have offered elementary, intermediate, and advanced Yoruba, as well as a Yoruba culture course taught in English. All of our courses are open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Please explore the rest of our Web site to find out more about our program!
