A Second Language Acquisition Certificate Program for African Language Instructors
May 24 - June 4, 2010
About the Summer 2010 Institute
The summer 2010 institute will help prepare African language Educators in the vital area of integrated skills of approach to teaching of the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. It will also prepare them for testing and assessing these four skills. Issues related to lesson planning and classroom management will be discussed as well.
As interest in African language learning and teaching increases, so does the need to prepare graduate students, teaching assistants who are planning to pursue African language teaching as a profession and faculty members in the field who need retooling.
