Jê K´Á Sæ Yorùbá online Yoruba Level one Course, developed by Antonia Yétúndé Fælárìn Schleicher, is an integrated learning system designed to present the fundamentals of Yorùbá to all introductory level learners.

This course features an eclectic approach to language learning, and as the title suggests, it invites students from the very beginning to communicate meaningfully in Yorùbá.

Students who complete Jê K´Á Sæ Yorùbá will master basic vocabulary, functions, and structures of the Yorùbá language, and become familiar with traditional and contemporary Yorùbá life.

Many individuals participated in the successful completion of this Online Yoruba Level 1 Course. I would like to express my appreciation to Olusola Adesope and Anand Prithivathi, National African Language Resource Center (NALRC) staff, who provided all the technology support needed from the NALRC side of the project. I am also greatly indebted to Mohit Pasricha, CEO - In-A-Netshell Solutions and his expert software engineers and managers who spent untold hours to make sure that all the functionalities of the online course work properly. In-A-Netshell Solutions also designed the templates, animations and movies for this course. I will also like to thank Ankur Malhotra who served as the Project Manager and contact person for In-A-Netshell Solutions during the initial phase of this project.

This course is made possible through a grant from the Federal Department of Education grant #P229A020025.

I dedicate this project to Carla and Anthony.
